About Course

This qualification has been designed specifically for those working in the role of a fire safety warden. Fire wardens are individuals who have been designated the responsibility to support the ongoing management of fire safety. Their role is to contribute to the safety of those who may need to be evacuated in the instance of a potential fire safety breach.

 

What next?

Individuals achieving this qualification can then progress onto:
• Highfield Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment (QCF)
• Highfield Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (QCF).

 

Assessment Methods

Learners will sit a 1-hour multiple-choice examination containing 30 questions and must achieve at least 20 (66%) correct answers to be awarded a Pass. Learners achieving 24 (80%) correct answers will be awarded a distinction.
